Follow your ambition
Following your ambition is easier said than done, right ? – well that’s what we have convinced ourselves of anyway.
At some point in our lives, we have all had some sort of ambition. A goal, a target, an idea.
For some reason thou, we convince ourselves we don’t have the time, or the money, or the resources. But how long are you going to stand by [insert excuse here] here?, when the day comes and you reflect back on your life, is that excuse really going to cut it ?, can you honestly look back and say “yeah i didn’t do that because of x, y and z” and have no regrets?
If it was easy to follow your ambition, then everyone would have their own business, or be a professional footballer, or be the next big musician. It’s not going to be easy, and no one is going to hand it on a plate too you.
You might have heard the saying “failure, is not an option”. Unfortunately, that’s not true (as good as it sounds). Failure is an option, and its the easiest option.
If your really want something then you have to work for it. Hard work, dedication and commitment are what you will need if you hope to succeed.
Don’t be scared of failure, and don’t let that be the reason you don’t chase your ambitions. At one point or another, you will experience failure and it will drag you down if you let it, the hardest part is picking yourself up and moving forward. This experience (as horrible as it can be) will help define the character you are, and ultimately help you towards your ambition.
